I have been very pleased to see the incredible level of respect and support that Healthwatch Bexley has developed over the years, all of which enables it to represent the local patient and public voice more effectively and impact change.
Our latest Annual Report contains lots of information on what we've been working on over the last twelve months. You can read about the work we have done relating to Audiology Services, the Obesity Strategy and the NHS Long Term Plan.
Summary
- Just over 3,000 people shared their health and social care story with us, 95% more than last year.
- We have 21 volunteers, who gave over 450 hours of their time.
- Nearly 5,000 people engaged with us at community events and groups, libraries, hospitals and shopping centres.
- Over 2,300 people engaged with us through social media.
- We published 13 reports about the improvements people would like to see with their health and social care.
