Over 18? Don’t miss your vaccine
The London Borough of Bexley and the NHS are running a campaign to reach and engage younger adults and encourage them to access the COVID-19 vaccine.
#DontMissYourVaccine reminds people of the personal benefits to them when vaccinated against COVID-19 and signposts them to simple ways to access a vaccine.
The key messages are:
- getting the COVID-19 vaccine means you can get back to doing all the things you’ve missed, as soon as possible.
- If you’re over 18 and live in south east London, you can book your vaccine appointment now or just turn up at one of your local walk-in clinics.
A schedule of all Bexley Clinics is available on the London Borough of Bexley website, and is updated regularly: COVID-19 vaccines | London Borough of Bexley
For details about all the south-east London walk-in and pop-up vaccination clinics visit: selondonccg.nhs.uk/popupclinics - follow @NHSBexleyCCG on Twitter.
Or visit www.nhsselvax.com for further information on booking appointments.
You do not need proof of address, immigration status, ID or an NHS number to get your vaccine.
Getting fully vaccinated is the single most important step we can take to protect ourselves, our families and our communities against COVID-19 and to help us all get back to normal.
The first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine offers a high level of protection, but to get maximum and longer-lasting protection, it is vital to make sure you have both doses.
Please note second doses will be provided in line with Government guidance. As of 14 July, the interval between doses is a minimum of 8 weeks.
