Free Covid-19 Lateral Flow Tests
There is a range of options for getting a free lateral flow test in the London Borough of Bexley
At Home
You can order a test kit online and have it delivered to your home. Each test kit includes two packs of rapid lateral flow self-test kits.
Each of these two packs contains seven tests, for every member of your family or household. They include a set of instructions that are simple to follow.
At a Pharmacy
You can go to a participating pharmacy and pick up a free box of tests to use at home.
NHS England’s site finder allows you to search pharmacies near you that offer the pharmacy collect service. Over the coming weeks, more pharmacies will be signing up.
Community Collect Centre
You can collect an at home rapid test kit from the new Community Collect Centre at the Central Library in Townley Road, Bexleyheath.
You can collect from 11am to 7pm, Monday to Friday. You do not need an appointment.
In Person
The no symptom rapid testing centre at the Civic Offices, Bexleyheath is open from 9am to 7.30pm, Monday to Saturday and from 11am to 4.30pm on Sunday.
You will normally need to book an appointment. On the day, you will get your results in 30 minutes.
There are some pharmacies in Bexley offering free walk-in appointments for no symptom rapid tests. There's no need to make a booking and you should get your result within 1 hour of completing the test, through the contact details you supply (email or text).
